SEYMOUR WALK
Designed in collaboration with AtelierWest, Seymour Walk was conceived as a peaceful retreat from the fast pace of everyday city life. Rather than treating each room as a separate entity, the project relies on a single, continuous architectural language. Custom joinery forms the structural framework of the interior, bringing a clear sense of balance, proportion, and quiet permanence to every floor.
The sense of continuity starts immediately at the front door. A bespoke cloakroom built directly into the entrance hall introduces the warm, muted palette that runs through the entire property. From here, the main living space opens up around an open-plan kitchen featuring sleek Euromobil cabinetry. Sensa natural quartzite worktops and full-height splashbacks bring rich organic texture and movement to the room, finished with an all-black Quooker boiling-water tap and burnished metal accents. Functional elements and small appliances disappear completely behind pocket doors and hidden storage, preserving clean, uncluttered sightlines.
High-performance technology is integrated smoothly into the joinery layout. Premium appliances from Gaggenau and Siemens sit flush within bespoke housing units, allowing cutting-edge cooking power to coexist with the kitchen’s restrained aesthetic. Just beyond, the utility room carries through the exact same cabinet profiles and stone details for complete visual consistency across the ground floor.
This unified material language extends across every level of the house. In the media room, low-profile cabinetry keeps entertainment equipment hidden while warm LED backlighting illuminates display bays for books and artwork. In the bedrooms and private suites, custom Zalf fitted wardrobe systems provide tailored storage with integrated timber, leather, and smoked glass details. Custom bathroom vanities echo the quartzite and wood finishes seen downstairs, bringing the entire home together in one harmonious, beautifully crafted space.
