Leighton Gardens
A returning client project, Leighton Gardens takes a bold and distinctive approach, built around a sunken kitchen with a refined linear layout that sits within a wider open-plan space, revealing itself gradually as you move through the home.
Avocatus quartzite forms the striking focal point of the kitchen, used across both the worktops and splashbacks. This choice of material brings a bold, natural pattern to the space, paired beautifully with dark, textured melamine cabinetry that grounds the scheme and adds depth against the quartzite’s movement.
Microcement flooring runs throughout the kitchen, reinforcing the sense of a considered, cohesive material palette. Refined black handle details tie the cabinetry back to the black-framed arched doors to the rear of the space, creating a subtle thread of continuity between the joinery and the architecture around it.
On the upper level there is natural timber flooring and a soft, tonal paint palette across the walls and ceilings introduce warmth and balance, softening the boldness of the kitchen below and ensuring the wider scheme feels calm and considered rather than heavy.
Alongside the Euromobil furniture, Miele and Siemens appliances were integrated to ensure the kitchen performs as well as it looks.
The result is a highly distinctive, sophisticated kitchen that forms a confident centrepiece within its open-plan setting, combining bold material choices with a carefully balanced wider scheme.
